Professor Hideo Kosaka’s paper, “Universal holonomic quantum gates over geometric spin qubits with polarised microwaves” is published on Nature Communications

Professor Hideo Kosaka, Principal Investigator of Quantum Information Security Unit of the Institute of Advanced Sciences (IAS), Yokohama National University (YNU) published a paper, ”Universal holonomic quantum gates over geometric spin qubits with polarized microwaves” on Nature Communications.

The paper reports experimental demonstration of non-adiabatic and non-abelian holonomic quantum gates over a geometric spin qubit on an electron or nitrogen nucleus, which paves the way to realizing a universal quantum computer.

This research was conducted as part of the Strategic Basic Research Programs of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).
