Quantum Information Research Center and Advanced Chemical Energy Research Center have been established in the Institute of Advanced Sciences
On October 1st, 2020, two centers have been newly established in the Institute of Advanced Sciences. Research and social implementation will be proceeded with the existing Center for Creation of Symbiosis Society with Risk.
Quantum Information Research Center
The aims of the Center are to create a new field that integrates quantum technology-related fields such as quantum computing, quantum cryptgraphy, and quantum sensing, and to build large scale quantum computing networks which could go on to form a global quantum internet.
Advanced Chemical Energy Research Center
The aim of the Advanced Chemical Energy Research Center is the further development of science and technology of chemical energy (the energy matter), which covers efficient conversion of chemical energy into more readily usuable electrical energy, inverse conversion of electrical energy into chemical energy for storage, and transportation energy carriers.
