[Press Release] Successful Proof-of-Principle Demonstration of Superconducting Circuits for Quantum-Bit Control of Large-Scale Quantum Computers

Professor and the IAS Vice Director Nobuyuki YOHSHIKAWA and Specially Appointed Assistant Professor Taiki YAMAE (at the time of the research) of YNU have proposed a superconducting circuit that can control a large number of quantum bits and successfully demonstrated the principle of the circuit operation, together with Senior Researcher Naoki TAKEUCHI at the Global Research Center for Quantum/AI Integration Technology Business Development, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Professor Taro YAMASHITA at Tohoku University, and Chief Researcher Tsuyoshi YAMAMOTO at NEC Corporation.
