矢部正明IAS客員教授着任/ IAS Visiting Professor Msaaki Yabe appointed
2016年5月1日、矢部正明氏(株式会社長大)が着任され、本学からIAS客員教授の称号を授与されました。授与式は、5月23日に開催。矢部正明IAS客員教授は、社会インフラストラクチャの安全研究ユニットにおいてインフラの耐震安全性の研究を担当します。
Dr. Masaaki Yabe (Chodai Co., LTD.) arrived on May 1st at Yokohama National University, and the University conferred upon him the title of IAS Visiting Professor. The conferment ceremony took place on May 23, 2016.
IAS Visiting Professor Masaaki Yabe was appointed as Adjunct Investigator of the Research Unit: Safety and Resilience of Infrastructure and Infrastructure Systems of the Institute of Advanced Sciences (IAS) and will be in charge of infrastructure seismic safety research conducted by the Unit.
